A Fisherman's Music Video

If you've never viewed one of Aaron Wiebe's "Uncut Angling" videos, you're missing out. This guy is a hero in the making for a whole new generation of young smart-sticks. His latest effort, "Somebody That I Used To Know," is a compilation of funny, surprising and shocking visuals set to the recent smash hit by indie-pop artist, Gotye (if you're over 35, that's pronounced Go-tee-ay).
Mark our words, this wicked video is going viral. C'mon—with monster freshwater drum and curlytail jigs as body adornment, how can it not?
Wiebe, a Manitoba-based fishing guide since the age of 16, started producing angling videos in 2011, but has already racked up some amazing YouTube stats with on-the-money how-to fishing clips that look like they were done by a professional TV crew.
If you've been paying attention, you know that this isn't the first time we've shown you Wiebe's work. The debut video featured his sister, Cricket, catching perhaps the ugliest Arctic char we've ever seen. |
