Blind Fishing Guide's Boat
 |
| |
Fishing guide Lawrence Euteneier is no stranger to slammin' salmon and trout in Ontario's rivers, swordfish in the South Pacific, kingfish in the Gulf, and cod from wood dories off the coast of eastern Canada.
And he's blind.
As a blind fisherman, Euteneier has encountered numerous challenges launching, operating and loading boats off the water. Over the years Euteneier recognized a need for a boat he could launch and operate alone on small waters with the help of talking GPS and sonar. Enter the Blind Fishing Boat.
Euteneier developed the Blind Fishing Boat with Ontario Portable Boats to fish small inland bodies of water for bass, pike, walleye and muskie. The 12-foot boat folds down to 4 inches thick and weighs a mere 70 pounds. And it's not just for blind fishermen. It's the perfect solution for fishermen who want to get on the water fast without the hassle of trailering—or hit hard-to-reach waters with minimal gear, but still use an outboard. Check it out here!
