30-Foot Shark vs. Kayak
 |
| |
It's been over 35 years since the movie "JAWS" hit the screen. Since then, public swimming beaches have never quite been the same, what with panic at the slightest humming of the haunting "duh nah, duh nah" tuba melody. And while the movie inspired many kids to grow up and chase big predatory fish, it's still not every day you run into a 30-foot shark.
Well, get a load of this video. Look familiar? Just substitute a kayaker for the girl in the iconic JAWS promo poster.
The entire event was caught on video from a Panama City Beach, Florida pier and witnessed by screaming school kids and passersby. Rather than paddle for the shore or try to maintain his distance from the leviathan, the boater does the unthinkable! Does it look safe to get back into the water? Check it out! |
