WIN A $350 Abu Revo MGX Baitcaster!

Floating in mid-air, as if by magic, it was hard not to notice Abu Garcia's new Revo MGX last summer at ICAST, the sportfishing industry's coming-out party for new gear.
Even Berkley Pro Brandon Palaniuk was impressed.
"Not only is it the coolest looking product, but the display they have ... I don't know how they did it!" he told North American Fisherman in this video interview, which also features footage of the floating Revo MGX.
A fourth-place finisher in his first-ever Bassmaster Classic last year, Palaniuk has turned as many heads as did the Revo MGX at ICAST. Only 25 years old and set to compete in his second Bassmaster Classic this week, Palaniuk is clearly a leader in the Next Generation of bass-fishing superstars. No wonder he's fishing the Classic with an MGX.
With a blazing-fast 7.9:1 gear ratio, the MGX pulls in about 31 inches per handle turn. And its Infinitely Variable Centrifugal Brake system makes it hard to backlash—even with light baits, something other baitcasting reels struggle with.
So yeah, it's fast, easy to use and light.
How light? Can it really defy gravity?
Well, that ICAST display might have used magnets to make the MGX appear lighter than air, but it might as well be. Weighing in at a mere 5.4 ounces, it's lighter than the box it comes in—and yes, we weighed 'em!
So, if you're ready for The Next Generation in YOUR bass fishing, register here to WIN a $349.95 Revo MGX from North American Fishing Club and Abu Garcia. |
