UV Weapons Slay Fish
 Severe storms are dark, dreary and dreadful, generally speaking, but the new Ultra-Violet Bright Storm lures are anything but (unless you're a fish, in which case they're very dreadful). Storm just released 10 of its most popular baits in brand new UV-brightened color patterns.
The premise is that UV light travels farther than regular light, so UV-brightened lures are more visible to fish, especially in stained waters. The result is, well, some sweet-looking lures. See for yourself—Storm's UV baits include the ThunderCrank MadFlash, Deep Rattlin' ThinFin, Hot 'N Tot MadFlash, Deep Baby ThunderStick, Wiggle Wart MadFlash and Jointed MinnowStick.
The UV coloring works best in tandem with contrasting color patterns, says Mark Fisher, director of field promotions at Storm. Fisher and a team of product developers have been testing and refining the baits for more than two years.
"In product development, I work in the future all the time," says Fisher. "We're always asking 'What's the next big thing?' and trying to anticipate how much of an impact things we do today will have on fishing tomorrow."
