Mutant Rifle/Fishing Rod Combo
 |
|
Whether you're into survivalist or utility gear—or simply appreciate unique, made-in-the-good-old-USA hunting and fishing equipment, you must check out this combo.
Now, we've seen a lot of inventive products over the years, but we've never seen anything quite like it ...
The mutant offspring of a .22 caliber rifle and a fly rod, the largely carbon fiber and aluminum Pack-Rifle weighs under a pound (without fishing rod accessories) and packs down to 17 inches in length.
And if that wasn't enough wow factor, the company's website claims the gun can be taken down in under two seconds without any tools.
So how's it work? Check out the fishing rod option for a closer look at the fly reel and telescoping blank, all of which fits in the handle and butt stock tube.
Other cool accessories include scope mounts (that will fit any .22 scope), as well as a laser and laser mount kit designed specifically for the Pack-Rifle.
And at $425 (without accessories), the Pack-Rifle may just be in range of a lot of sportsmen's budgets.
