Fish Stink ... You Don't Have To
We'll bet dollars for donuts that your wife or girlfriend isn't too keen on the smell of dead fish. And it's not that fishermen don't wash their hands. It's just, well, to paraphrase an old sea shanty: "You can wash 'em, you can clean 'em, you can scrub 'em like hell, but you just can't get rid of that dead fish smell ..."
And, if you're like us, you've tried darn near every remedy known: lemon juice, bleach, salt, pumice-based soaps, garlic, stainless steel bars, etc. None seem to work. So, like a lot of life's persistent problems, a guy just has to let time work the odor out.
Well, here's something that eliminates the noxious odor of bait and dead fish. And it couldn't have a more appropriate name: De-fishing soap.
We're not sure how it works—only that it does. |
