Video: Giant Bass Clackin'
 |
| |
Come to think of it, "Giant Bass Clackin'" kind of sounds like the bass are doing the clackin'. Maybe today's headline should've read "Clackin' Giant Bass"—'cause that's really what's going on in the video.
The guys doing the clackin'—Al and James Lindner, along with Mark Fisher—sure as heck know what they're doing when it comes to giant bass. The lure doing the clackin'—Rapala's Clackin' Rap—obviously does, too.
The bait combines the best traits of several Rapala winners. The motion's seductive, the flash is deadly, the vibration's powerful and the sound it throws off is in a class by itself. Simply put, the thing's a killer.
It comes in four different sizes, ranging from 2 ½- to 3 ½-inches, and a boatload of colors.
It's also spawned a couple new spin-offs, the Clackin' Crank and the Clackin' Minnow. Both newbies have a powerful truth behind 'em: The fact that Rapala wouldn't have bothered makin' them if they weren't even better than the Clackin' Rap in certain situations. |
