Killer Crank For Deep Down Bass
Mann's Bait

In the 1980s many of us drove Camaros and Trans Ams and sported moustaches (to be like Burt Reynolds). We had a little more hair in the back (and on top)—and when we weren't chasing girls—we fished a lot of bass. Our fishing tactics were simple: Texas-rigged plastic worms. The only thing we cranked was Van Halen ...

But thanks to pros like Bill Dance and Roland Martin, as we learned more about bass fishing we discovered just how deadly crankbaits could be—especially in deeper waters.

So, in 1986, when Mann's Bait introduced the first crank to break the 20-foot barrier, it was a big deal. With Mann's innovative lip design we could now reach toads that hadn't seen a crank that deep. And the results were awesome.

Now, some 25 years later, Mann's Bait is back for the attack (just like Dokken) with a two-piece crank called the JOINTED 20+. Why they didn't offer this option back in the day is anyone's guess, but we're glad to finally have it now.

Just released at ICAST 2011 in Las Vegas, the company assures us that the 20+ will be available in early December and come in 10 killer colors and patterns in the 3 3/8-inch long and ¾-ounce size.
Must have   Baits from a classic lure company.
