Slab Me Silly--With Big Crappies
We first saw these cool jigs a couple years ago at the Fisherman's One Stop near Lake Fork, Texas, where serious crappie sticks stock up to pound bridge pilings for big Texas slabs.

Each jig is hand tied one at a time by the folks in Arlington, Texas. Details like clear eyelets—not painted over—are not lost on the luremakers.

You can get 'em in three feather types, flutterly marabou, a stiffer turkey feather or middle-of-the-road rooster neck hackle, plus models with crystal ice or fluorescent chenille and even 3D stick-on eyes.

Want proof that they work? Check out this video of our buddy Aaron Wiebe fishing them meatless under floats for big springtime slabs.
