Best Trailer Preventative Maintenance—Now
 |
Whether you're fishing a big walleye rig like these guys, a bass boat or smaller, all-around fishing boat, a good project right now is to go through your trailer with a fine tooth comb.
Inspect your tires, tighten the lug nuts, grease your wheel bearings, and check all the lights and electrical connections. Not sure how to grease your bearings? Fishing Pro Scott Duncan shows you how.
Now, depending on the age and type of your trailer, you may want to physically unpack, grease and repack your bearings. Here's a great video tutorial that walks you through the entire process.
Remember that simple trailer preventative maintenance can keep you on the road longer, and able to do more of what we all love best—fish! |
