Insane Urban Fishing
 |
| |
Although we anglers like to dream of wild, pristine waters, there are tons of fishing opportunities in our own backyards—even in large urban areas. Just ask Ike, he's been there, done that—even wrote a book and centered a TV show on fishing in and around the concrete jungle. Okay, so the scenery isn't the stuff of greeting cards, but the fishing can be epic.
Like the stellar fishing in Detroit, Michigan. While factories and power plants might be the backdrop, there are few places in the U.S. where anglers have as good a chance to catch a double-digit trophy than they do right here.
And the fishing's so good in New York City that Addictive Fishing's Capt. Blair left the briny brutes of the Sunshine State to hunt stripers on Western Long Island Sound.
Urban angling is big with guys across The Pond, too. Like the "Zanderfreaks" of Hamburg, Germany, who made this killer video.
And that's just a start. Get out and fish, wherever you live! |
