Robot Bait Destroys Bass
 |
| |
Designers of this radically versatile new bass bait say robotic, shape-shifting Transformers were the motivation behind its design. Even the bait's name, "XPod," says high-tech.
The 4¼-inch XPod's "cool factor" is its adjustable jaw. It can be clicked into seven different positions, transforming the bait from a surface walker to a pencil popper to full-on popper to a chugger and subsurface swimmer!
Just watch this angler fish the bait in various modes for epic bait-busting bass action!
The XPod comes in 11 colors, including PM Bass, GW Stardust Shad OB and a sexy firetiger. Other mean-looking patterns have Japanese names that might as well be choices on a sake menu—stuff guaranteed to cause head-throbbing bass hangovers.
The price tag? Thirty bucks. But you get seven baits in one, which makes it a little easier to swallow. The bass certainly don't have a problem. Our advice? Solid knots and fresh line.
Oh, and don't forget to check out the XPod Jr.! |
