With Fishing Boats, Size Matters
 |
| |
According to Red Green, North America's favorite Handyman, the secret to fishing success comes down to image—looking like you know what you're doing. And that means fishing out of a boat big enough to intimidate the other anglers on the lake.
But rather than investing a year's pay in 20-plus feet of sparkling new 'glass and glitter down at the marina showroom, he'd rather build his own rig using—what else? The "Handyman's Secret Weapon," o' course.
It's surprising what you can build out of a couple of old scows and a case or two of duct tape.
But despite the fact that Red's project makes good economic sense (and that it just plain looks fun) we urge you not to try this at home! |
